Latest Updates on BISP’s Second Phase

Many families previously struggling with zero balances in their accounts have seen their issues resolved recently. The government has halted funds for two specific family categories; details on the affected groups and instructions on checking your balance and transactions via your mobile will be provided.

A spokesperson for the 8171 BISP Ehsaas Program released a video message to his team, urging them to treat beneficiaries, who may lack literacy, with compassion and to ensure timely payment processing. Beneficiaries who have recently updated their foreign forms are now eligible for funds through the Ehsaas Kafalat Program.

BISP Second Phase Payment of Rs 10,500

Those who haven’t updated their forms for the BISP Income Support Program, including those surveyed under the program six months ago but still facing issues, have positive news. Eligible individuals with a poverty score below 32 are set to receive the June 2024 installment.

This includes both the allocated funds and a stipend for children, although some women may not receive the children’s stipend this cycle. Further announcements might include bonuses along with regular payments. Continual efforts are ensuring that beneficiaries receiving educational scholarships are paid without delays.

To check your poverty score or account balance, access the 8171 portal by searching “8171” on Google. The government is enhancing the program by offering new services and developing another portal for complaint resolutions and problem-solving.

The Pakistan Citizen Portal, initiated by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, encompasses the Benazir Income Support Program. Should any issues arise, they can be addressed through this portal with expected resolution within a week. This portal also allows you to verify your zero balance status in the BISP program.

  • Send this to 8171.
  • An SMS will inform you of your eligibility status.
