The Benazir Taleemi Wazaif initiative, part of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), provides educational stipends to children of Kafaalat beneficiaries. Eligible students receive quarterly payments, which help cover schooling expenses and reduce dropout rates, encouraging children to continue their education through secondary levels.
Eligibility Requirements for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif
- Beneficiary Family: Only children of BISP Kafalat recipients qualify.
- Age Range:
- Primary: 4-12 years old
- Secondary: 8-18 years old
- School Enrollment: The child must attend a nearby government school.
- Attendance Requirement: Students must maintain a minimum of 70% attendance to continue receiving stipends.
Stipend Amounts (Per Quarter)
- Primary Level: Rs 2,000 (boys), Rs 2,500 (girls)
- Secondary Level: Rs 3,000 (boys), Rs 3,500 (girls)
- Higher Secondary Level: Rs 4,000 (boys), Rs 4,500 (girls)
Latest Updates
For November 2024, the stipend amounts were updated, with Rs 4,500 available per girl and Rs 4,000 per boy. Plans are in process to expand the program in January 2025, aiming to support 6 million students nationwide.

- Go to the 8171 web portal (8171.bisp.gov.pk), enter your CNIC number, and verify your eligibility and payment status.
Graduation Bonus
Eligible students completing primary education with consistent attendance receive a graduation bonus of Rs 3,000 when they enter the sixth grade.
