Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has started the Negahban program, aimed at providing free rashan to those in need. If you haven’t received rations yet, here’s how you can avail yourself of this support.
Ramzan Negahban Program 2024:
The Negahban program aims to distribute rations across Punjab to aid individuals with limited financial means, especially during Ramzan when work opportunities and income are scarce. Under this Negahban Rashan Program, eligible individuals will receive 10 kg of flour, 2 kg of sugar, 2 kg of rice, and 2 kg of ghee.
Registration Started Through the Negahban Program:
Registration for the Negahban Rashan Program can be completed from the comfort of your home, eliminating the need to visit any office. Essential for registration is your ID card. If you don’t have access to registration facilities, teams from the Negahban Program will visit your home for enrollment after a new survey to confirm eligibility.
Required Documents for Negahban Program Registration:
To register for the Negahban Program, you’ll need to provide various documents including your monthly income certificate, utility bills (electricity, gas, and mobile), bank statements, CNIC, family certificate (FRC), and details of family members.

Who is Eligible for the Negahban Rashan Program:
Eligibility for the Negahban Program requires Pakistani citizenship and residence in Punjab. Teams will conduct surveys at your residence to check eligibility criteria.
However, individuals with pending legal cases or bank loans are not eligible for the Negahban Rashan Program.
